Day 1 - July 17
Welcome Home – Embracing Ghana’s Spirit
Begin your journey with a warm Ghanaian welcome at Kotoka International Airport. After a seamless transfer to the hotel, you’ll have time to rest and unwind after a long flight. Prepare to connect, reflect, and set your intentions for the transformational journey during the group’s first dinner.
Day 2 - July 18
Cultural Orientation – Past, Present, and Future
Experience the vibrant energy of Ghana’s capital with an immersive Accra City Tour that blends history, culture, and modern-day innovation. In the evening, we will gather for our welcome dinner and cultural performance. Dr. Isaac Addae will discuss the vision for Conscious Immersion and officially say "Woezor."
Days 3 & 4 - July 19-20
Sankofa – Retracing African Diaspora Origins
Prepare for a powerful journey to Cape Coast. After a morning drive from Accra, we will visit Assin Manso, the site of the Last Bath taken by enslaved Africans. Afterward, we will participate in a traditional naming ceremony. The following day, we will visit the historic Cape Coast Castle, where the infamous Door of No Return marks a solemn past. The journey back to Accra will provide an opportunity to reflect on the overall experience.
Day 5 - July 21
ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND HIGHER EDUCATION
We'll start the day with a visit to Crescendo Foods to meet with local entrepreneurs and hear their perspective on building a business in Ghana. We’ll also have the opportunity to experience a small business expo. Later in the day, we’ll visit Ashesi University, one of Africa’s leading institutions for ethical leadership and innovation, and enjoy a campus tour and dialogue with staff.
Day 6 - July 22
INVESTING, REAL ESTATE, AND EXPATRIATION
Today’s focus is on the expatriation process, real estate, and financial opportunities. After breakfast, we’ll discuss daily life as an expatriate, covering residency, cost of living, and career prospects. Then, we'll visit with government officials to learn about business incentives and investor opportunities. We’ll tour real estate developments showcasing a diverse range of housing options in one of Africa’s hottest real estate markets.
Days 7 & 8 - July 23-24
EXPLORING GHANA’S VOLTA REGION
Embark on a scenic drive to Ghana’s Volta Region, a hidden gem of natural beauty and economic potential. There, we’ll explore the region’s hospitality industry and reflect on the business ecosystems taking shape beyond the capital. Continuing our journey to Ho, we’ll unwind with dinner at the Volta Serene Hotel. The next day will be spent the day in conversation with traditional tribal leaders. We’ll learn about the structure of tribal governance and gain insight into the role chieftaincy still plays in Ghana’s political and cultural life. In the evening, we will return to Accra.
Day 9 - July 25
ACCRA FREE DAY & CLOSING REFLECTIONS
After breakfast, guests will have leisure time to refresh before choosing between two optional activities—a deep dive into Ghana’s art, media, and entertainment ecosystem or a relaxing beach day. We will gather for a farewell dinner in the evening, celebrating our shared experiences, connections, and the next steps ahead. A farewell toast marks the official close of Conscious Immersion Ghana, but the relationships and insights gained will last a lifetime.
Day 10 - July 26
DEPARTING GHANA – TAKING THE JOURNEY FORWARD
We will gather for breakfast on our final morning together. Guests will reflect on their takeaways, discuss strategies for sustaining impact, and enjoy leisure time for the remainder of their stay as they prepare to leave Ghana. Airport transfers from the hotel will ensure a smooth departure. We'll say "see you later" for now, but we're already looking forward to your next visit! Safe travels! This isn’t goodbye, but the start of a deeper connection with Ghana.
